Thing you Run From

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 6:24 pm

Since, most of us are mostly new to Skyrim with low level characters. I assume some battles have been too tough and you've have had to run away from some battles no matter the fact that you soo want to defeat the monster in the way.

I was in a dwemer dungeon of some sort with some bandits. Locked inside deeper in the dwemer dungeon were dungeon centurion guards. I thought I'd be bad ass and kill it. Oh no. So I ran away. lol.

What are some of your run away stories?

No spoilers, btw. Just general information.

I'm running a stealth character as well, so I understand the want. Just sometimes daggers don't do the job.

Those Dwemer Centurions are absolutely terrifying! I summoned a Storm Atronach to help me out and my Atronach actually just ran away.

Well as a low level mage I find myself fleeing from apprentice level mages (Fellglow Keep)
It's not fun being outnumbered by mages more skilled than you

I took a quest early on where I had to find someone. I was at the very end of the quest right before I could free him. But there were 4 mages, and they just kicked my ass over and over and over again. So I finally snuck out and decided to do that quest later. I can't wait to get revenge.

How do you back stab people? Is it a perk? Every time I sneak up behind people I never get the option... You have to use a dagger too right?

Effing everything. I have died more in 4 hours in Skyrim than 20 hours of Dark Souls. I'm only on default difficulty.

lol.

I fought a bandit that killed. Which is funny because I slaughtered his whole entire camp and he wasn't even the leader and he beat me down.

The draugr boss in a cave near to where you start. I was level 3 but the boss and his 4 minions were DEADLY. So I ran away.

I forgot, however, that the hallway from which I entered had swinging axe traps all along it. So when I ran down the hallway, away from the draugrs, they followed and got chopped up by the axes.

I won the dungeon. xD

Ah the "backstab" I'm talking about is merely the 3x multiplier damage (base) that you sneak attack with your melee weapon. You've basically done it.

I just like to 1-shot kill everything with my backstab.

I'm gonna hone my backstab skill through enhancements (blacksmithing), enchantment and poisons (alchemy). 1H skill also helps.

I look forward to 1-shotting a dragon in 1 sneak attack. It will be glorious.

That's an ingenious way to beat a boss. Well done.

Haha yup, best part is it was a total accident. :D
I was running down the hallway at 10% HP when all I hear are slashes behind me. I turn around and I see 4 dead draugr.

I also tend to run from dragons when I'm alone.

I lead it to towns so the guards can die for me.
