Things I love about this game that go unnoticed

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 12:51 pm

I love the level scaling and how it adjusts to your play style. No other game does this.

I love the attention to detail on just small facets of the game. Like catching butterflies. It's a mundane task but it feels so much like i'm actually out in a field catching butterflies I dont care.

The amount of factions and guilds you can join. Different types of characters you can become. I can join the brotherhood or even become a bard. The amount of custimization you can do with your character. Most games just have set classes. This is due to the levelling system, but you really can create an infinite amount of characters.

I actually love the streamlined approach and the fact this game incorporated an epic feel and storyline and still kept a ton of depth with the amount of choices you can make, professions you can explore etc.

I was blown away last night when I walked up to a tree stump and there was a colony of ants crawling around on it :)

Right there are so many small details and situations that crop up that are always so real.

Plus everything you do is with a purpose. It makes it really addicting. I'm catching butterflies because I want to make stuff.

Just little stuff like that.

I'm collecting potatoes and farm goods because you can sell them to farmers.

It makes sense.

Yesterday I had a blast just trying to hunt salmon with arrows while they were jumping upstream.
Yes, the simple/little things can be a lot of fun aswell.

I'm fond of most the game, even the UI and I'm a hardcoe PC Gamer. The amount of elitists slurring the consoles for their own dislike of the UI is just atrocious...

They can resell them at retail value for a profit.

I like the well-thougjt object that makes the world feel real. Castles with a water supply inside. Bathroom/potty rooms with shovels and pails nearby, not to mention reading material. Wet boots stacked in front of the fire in a cabin up in the snow-covered mountains. And on, and on, and on ...

I like the level scaling alot better than oblivions that is for sure. it still needs a little work though. 75% of the time the enemies are so easy to kill that I turn up the difficutly to make it enjoyable, the other 25% it's a mad scramble to drink all your potions because a bada** came out of no where. still, i'm thoroughly enjoying it, but the scaling could use a little work still

on topic just the fact that the world feels real for once. There's farms in the country side around the cities, there's gaurd towers watching important routes to the neighboring hold. things like that. just really makes the world feel real.

right they dont give you much for them. Which is even more amazing. IT's enough with every other job i'm doing and easy enough to make me want to do it though.
