I play on xbox, is it just me or is there only 2 buttons to hotkey spells or items? right and left pad only? in oblivion you could press the pad in all 8 directions giving you 8 options for mapping items or spells, but it seems like in skyrim I can only map to the left and right.. for me being a pure mage I enjoy using many forms of spells to my advantage, and it svcks having to pause and delay combat to switch spells..

did they get rid of karma? if so thats too bad, being a good or a bad person kept things a bit interesting especially when it came to interacting with people.

I also play on Xbox. You can favourite any usable item in your inventory by selecting it and pressing Y. In-game you can press Up on the D-pad and a list of all your favourites will show up (including shouts, spells, weapons, potions, etc).

No your not messing anything, you are correct. It is unfortunate, and needs to be patched asap. It would make things so much smoother. I think if you had the new elivated controller dpad even corner hotkeys would be cool.....
