Things that you regret doing

Post » Mon Sep 24, 2012 4:29 pm

Everyone's done something in their life that they've regretted and has changed their lives forever, or have done something they felt bad about for awhile but they've forgotten that it ever happened after some time. From the life changing events to the small, forgettable things, and everything in between, most have felt this feeling of grief or relief. How about you?

A few years ago, I laughed in a person's face and walked away when they asked me something in a strange accent. One of the small things you sometimes forget, but I feel awful for that person, what if they were asking for directions or something, I didn't understand them. Also, don't post anything relating to illegal activities, it probably wouldn't be very wise.

Not spending more time with my brother on the last day I saw him alive. He came over to show off his new born son and say hello. I was the only one home at the time and I only spent a couple minutes with him before I went off to do my own thing. I regret that alot.

When I was 13 or maybe 14 years old, a friend of a girl interested in me asked if she had a chance on me. I replied I didn't want to hang out with her cause I thought she was ugly and went on a rant about smoking (she was a smoker). Little did I know she was hiding right around the corner and heard our conversation and got really hurt. I very much regret this, it was a stupid and assey behavior of me. Don't regret rejecting her though, but I could have been a lot more polite about it.

Too often I also regret being lazy and procrastinate too much

A bunch of stuff.

One major thing-

I regret ever starting smoking. I haven't smoked cigarrettes in a month but have a cigar every now and then. It svcks how much it damages your lungs. I have had to exercise a lot just to get them to stop hurting. And believe me, the repair process hurts like hell....
