I think I'm in love...

with the TESO art direction.

Seriously, this game looks so good.

Yes, on some levels it can't compete with single-player titles like The Witcher 3, etc. But the world just looks so god darn pleasant.
And not in that paper-prop kind of way like in Guild Wars 2, either, where everything looks [censored] once you inspect it closer.

It really, really, looks good. Sort of how World of Warcraft looked good in 2004/2005, because the art direction was phenomenal.

I think I can really see myself getting really lost in this world. And I love the fact that I finally feel that! :)

High five!

The quality of the upload is rubbish btw. Check out PC gamer's video. Spectacular footage. Dunno if it's new, but new to me at least.

I took the screen from the video I just linked, so it most likely does look that good in game! :)

My only hopes now is that we also get to see some towering forests, like Ashenvale or Feralas. So far, I've mostly seen rather barren areas, or small trees.

The stylisation is stunning, I'd have to say it's the best I've seen. I'm unusually blown away by it, which is a rare compliment.

Did anyone else notice the guy playing the lute in the bar? Do you think we'll be able to use instruments or have a bard class?

Tbh, I am not a fan of how far they carry the stylized look sometimes but in general it is pretty good.
