I think I've made a friend

I've finished DB, now I'm doing the Winterhold quests, going back and forth. Early on a dragon appeared there, and seeing as I'm trying to get the Dragonrider achievement, I'm using Bend Will on every one that I see. Only every quest I finish for Winterhold and I go back to turn the quest in, a dragon appears. Every. Single. Time.

Then it occured to me that it's the same one, just returning every time because I'm not killing this one. I don't know, perhaps it's appearance there wasn't "resolved", by killing it.

If it is the same one it's hostile every time it returns. Either that or it's just an amazing co-incidence. I mean EVERY time I return? Something going on there.

Dammit man, didnt your parents tell you not to feed stray dragons? Now it followed you home! :D They're social creatures and get easily attached. Working as intended.

Seriously though...As far as I can remember, someone reported this back when Dragonborn first came out for Xbox 360.

What can I say, it's my bag full of goats legs. I think he developed a taste for them. Better that than me though.

Question is, when I get the achievement, will I be able to bring myself to kill him. Quite fond of him now.

Well, you could just keep him. Not like its much of a problem shouting at a dragon every now and then. Think of him like a bigger horse.

I have seen this happen in Winterhold. It is the Dragon that spawns above the college sometimes. Only if it is not killed, it sticks around and shows up every time you go there. I think it went away when I avoided Winterhold for a long period of time (not sure but like 30 days or so)

I think it is a spawn of a non hostile dragon and that's why it does not come down to fight, no matter what you do.
