i'm pretty sure this is it. Super jumping probably won't be added into skyrim. the skyrim devs are trying to make the physics more realistic in this game than the past ones it seems

It isn't a matter of realism. Levitation and enhanced jumping are both very much part of TES realism. They've been omitted because they make certain game mechanics too complicated to be worth the effort (in Bethesda's opinion, of course).

Arctorious pretty much hit the nail on the head - it's essentially a Telvanni gravity lift ala Halo.

I was wondering how Bethesda would make Telvanni towers without levitation. It would be so wrong if it was just staircases. I guess they didn't have too many options outside of the old fashioned Halo-style lift.

Since when was being able to jump high a skill anyway?

It's not as though it's climbing walls into normally unreachable places or jumping across small ledges like in Assassins Creed / Prince of Persia. That would be a skill but not being able to jump higher. That is just daft IMO. I'm glad they left it out.
