Thinking of buying another game but unsure which one

Post » Wed Aug 22, 2012 4:14 am

New vegas was okay but it was too much like every other game I own for what ever reason 97% of my game collection involves shooting stuff and 3% = bows arrows magic and swords

so any epic games for 360 that are like skyrim but where magic is actually amazing and can kill stuff at higher levels ?

I already Own Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition and Dragon Age 2 Ive played the 2nd one soo much i just cant get into it any more and the 1st one takes forever before can do anything and eventually the story just gets lost and i forget what im even doing and then gets boring along with games i already own = Oblivion GOTY and Skyrim AC2 and AC Brother Hood (can't find a copy of AC1)

i am sorta considering Assassins creed revelations but im not sure if that will even last more than 2 days and is more about the multiplayer Brotherhood added on in which case would be a waste of a game ...

I would like to get Brutal Legend but when i borrowed it off my friend i beat it 99.9% and all i had left was a single turret mission before returning it so might end up being a waste of $10.00 but then again the epic sound track it had ...

I really dont want to end up purchasing another game where guns = main weapon id much rather a game where i can cast down lightning and smite all who opposed my character

You played any of the Fable series?

The lightning isn't exactly of the 'smiting' variety but I enjoyed playing them.

Er... Magic is amazing and kills stuff at higher levels in Skyrim :P

Don't have a console so I can't help much.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?

dont the enemies get overly repetitive and still end up fighting 1 hit creatures at end game that were first seen in the intro or something ?

Two Worlds 2.

Don't expect anything too great... but it's an okay action-RPG if you can pick it up cheap. It actually has a pretty cool magic system if I remember correctly.

Two Worlds is also worth picking up just for the incredible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So1LF6AbYbc.

Not really, it does get easier later on, but you don't 1-hit everything (unless you play in the low lvl areas).

I'm playing KoA casually right now, and its finally beginning to pull me in. It's not spectacular, its not the best in the world...but its a good game. If you like to loot you're in for a treat. Just play harder difficulties if you want to he challenged....default normal is very easy.

If you want to challenge yourself, play the masterpiece known as Dark Souls. There are three types of magic: Pyromancy, Miracles and Sourceries. But you have limited uses each bonfire rest, but lots of flexibility on Attunement and casting types. You'd be a fan of Lightning Spear. Just be warned...Dark Souls is a true, immense challenge your first playthrough and requires constant focus and patience.

"Dragon's Dogma" will suit your tastes fine.

Also why not give your brain a treat and check out "Catherine", a puzzle game with RPG elements that is unlike anything you've played before.

Finally "Sleeping Dogs" is awesome and if you want the latest and greatest... get that.
