[REQ] third person animation in first person view

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 2:16 pm

Alright so, one of my favorite mods from oblivion basically centered the camera of third person so it was in first person. This was a really cool mod because not only did the animation look WAY better, but it got rid of the [censored] way you held your weapons in first person.

I think this mod would be amazing in Skyrim. The weapon animations are so much better this time around, as well as everything else.

heres a link to the oblivion mod:

+1 ...This is what I missed most when I first started Skyrim.

Thanks for requesting it!

While we're at it, let's make it so that you can ride your horse and see your feet/body in first person mode. :D

that should be possible. I think what the mod actually did was disable the "first person view" and just zoomed the camera in to where the first person camera would sit, so you had all your body/animations.

I THINK i recall that i would sometimes have issues aiming at things below me while crouched because my knee would be in the way. either that or it was a different bethesda game.

I like the sound of this.. also, it would be nice if when you switched between 3rd and 1st person view that it was instant and not the zoom in/out that it currently does.

This sounds fun, but to do it right I think that we should also have an "out of game" character creator for people starting from the begining. (Otherwise you play a nord in the wagon until you turn into an orc, or whatever.)

On this subject I've noticed that in Oblivion you could hold the R button and view your own character while sitting, or you could look behind you while running, etc, but I don't think this is possible in Skyrim?

Sounds good. I'd also like to see my own shadow when in first person mode, helps with immersion.
