Is this build realistic?

Post » Sun Feb 24, 2013 1:39 pm

I'v just made a Dunmer, and I was wondering if this build will work, as I've used the perk calculator and I'v picked 60 perks for it spread between one-handed, smithing, light armor, lock picking ( I know most people find it useless but I like the idea of this character only ever needing one lock pick), speech and conjuration.

So my question is just using just these skills will I actually get too level 61 so I can acquire all the perks I want?

Depends. What difficulty do you play on? Do you play Dead is Dead? Are you any good? If you want to, you can be anything in Skyrim.

Any build is viable, provided you have the patience and desire to do so.

I play on adept, I don't play DID, and I'm good enough I suppose. What I mean is just leveling pre-mentioned skills will I reach level 61, or will I have to level up other skills aswell to reach 61.

That I couldn't tell you. However, I think that H-W-R said it best. Patience and desire is all it really takes.

I have plenty of both, so I should be okay, I'm planning too RP this character, as I haven't really RP'd properly before, apart from the basics (don't join X guild or don't do Y quest) so I want my character; Valen Sero to be well special and unique.

I have a rough back story, his brother is a certain mercenary, and Valen came too Skyrim looking for said brother, as that's where he heard he was last. But on the way over the border he was attacked and mugged by a certain group of Nords, and as he's lying face down in the dirt bruised, beaten and rather devoid of all personal effects, the Imperials spring their ambush taking his attackers and himself hostage. Kind of basic but will evolve him as he goes.

Shadow: it kind of shows he got charisma and a good head for business, and plus makes it easier to get rid of loot.

Sounds good to me, I think it could develop into a solid character and playthrough. Hope you have as much fun as it sounds like you could have.

Thank Assault, I'm still unsure which side of the Civil War to choose (if any) as the stormcloaks attacked and mugged him, yet the Empire tryed too cut his head off.. I'll Valen decide after exploring for a while, assessing the situation, see which side is best for Skyrim (in his opinion).

Just do that, because I'm not one to try and persuade people about the CW. I like to talk about it, but that is about it. So, just let Valen choose, or maybe even not choose. You'll know what is best when the time comes.
