The Arkane devs are giving tons of specifics though, and both Harvey Smith and Raf Colantonio have a history of making similar games...unlike Splash Damage, who had really just been iterating on Enemy Territory games for a decade.
Unfortunately, a lot of people (even on this board) aren't reading things like "it has tons of player freedom" in context, and seem to think it's some crazy, open-world game where you can literally do anything. Hopefully once we see some footage people will get a better understanding of what it actually is, rather than hyping up things it doesn't even claim to do.
