This demo is horrible...

Post » Fri Sep 07, 2012 4:16 pm

So I've been thinking about trying to get into Dead Space, and I played the demo on 360 and I keep dying. I've tried this 4 times and I start in a hallway, go into a room, and all these creatures attack me. I can't change the difficulty to easy cause there is no difficulty on the demo but it's really frustrating me because I've heard great things about this game.

So basically I'm trying to debate whether to buy the game or not if anyone else experienced this.

Dead Space is great game get it. Demos on any game are going to tough as nails but it's there to get you interested in the game so you do buy it. Anyway on killing the enemies you have to shot not only their head to kill them but also their legs arms in order to kill them.

You need to shoot the limbs. In most cases, shooting the head won't profit you much.

I woul buy it. Solid horror game.

As for killing the zombie like enemies, you have to shoot their limbs. Also, the automatic rifle type weapon isn't meant for dismembering (in case that is what you are using). The plasma cutter (which is the one handed weapon), however, is great at chopping limbs off.

Yeah, Plasma Cutter is definitely one of the best weapons in the game.

Anyway, at OP, as others have stated, you have to shoot the limbs. Specifically, aim for the arms. Shooting the arms off of a slasher (guys with the singular pair of blade arms) will kill them. Shoot the legs if you simply want to slow them down. Shooting the head does damage, but generally isn't very useful.

Don't pay more than $10 per game. New or used.
