So this is frustrating...

I thought after playing the game for a few days I would be on this forum saying how awesome it is. But this poor sequel to one of the best games I ever played made me pretty sad. Yea the graphics are pretty good, but the game is buggy, In terms of physics this was a big step backwards, completely random story (Only half life can pull off the whole not talking thing, NOMAD TALKED!!). Also WTF no super speed or a decent power mode!! These pretty much don't exist..

Sorry if I'm not meant to post rage posts but just wanted to put in my thoughts. I wont be buying any DLCs or Crysis 3.

Well, you are in same position as majority of people... ok, maybe with a difference that roughly 50% think that the graphics were also step backwards comparing to Crysis 1.

So WELCOME TO HELL... i mean: Welcome to EA which just eat your 60$ for beta version of semi-good game.

Mhm I see people blaming EA, but If i remember correctly.. BF3 = Dice = Publisher = ea.

Devs choose how to make the game and what is the lead platform, dice has chosen PC for lead platform while Crytek has chosen console point of view.

Don't blame EA.

BF3 is a console port.....

Acctualy it will be a PC port. :D It is suppose to be built around the PC and DX11. Then dumbed down for consoles, instead of built around Xbox360 and published for PS3 and PC which could mean something better for the PS3 crowed the game might acctualy use PS3's full potential. I will believe it when I see it but I have hope.

People have been saying that crap about PS3 for 5 years now. Just face it, PS3 was a bomb. The only way to use it to it's full potential is to use it as a door stop. As far as BF3 goes, you'll still bich about it when it comes out if you think Crysis 2 is a port. I played Warhead last night on enthusiast, 1920x1080 and it's not as good as people remember. Crysis 2 looks better by a lot. Dice is svckering everyone in with their fancy videos. I can guarantee that the game won't look like that when you play it.

Troll alert.

Lol, the bugs are already being fixed as we speak. The physics ARE THE SAME EXACT **** AS IN CRYSIS 1. The only thing is there's not a lot of physics to play with, but I mean come on, like when you throw an enemies body, do you NOT see how it moves in terms of gravity and flies away due to your strength and over objects, rolling on the floor? The physics are fine in this game, seriously -_-

And the story is NOT random LOL XD If you think it's random, that means you didn't understand it, and if you didn't understand it, then you're an idiot. It's really not that hard to remember and is a much more superior story to Crysis 1 (which TBH, bored me at times. Nomad was **** too....it got good half way through, then got stalemate, then picked up at the end). Crysis 2 had me continuously playing just to know what happened next, it's **** great. The sci-fi writers have done a good job with this, even tho the story borrows elements from Spiderman and War of the Worlds.

Speed mode was useless in the first game really. HOW OFTEN was it used? Was it even necessary? Did it even make SENSE? Think about it, if I had strength mode, wouldn't my legs be stronger thus allowing me to run faster? Why can't it be armor, strength, and stealth? So that's one reason why I see it's dumb. For strength mode, it's ALL in the nanosuit. Nanosuit 2, when armor and stealth aren't activated is in POWER mode.
-Speed mode aspects of Nanosuit 2: Sprinting and sliding. That's all that's needed. Speed mode in Crysis 1 was a quick burst of running and then you get slow again. Lol...
-Strength mode aspects of Nanosuit 2: Aim down sights and hold sprint button to steady aim. Charge up your melee by holding the melee button down. Grabbing people's throats and throwing them far distances. Picking up an object, charging the throw, and throwing it. High jump. Air stomp. Kicking the enemies when you hit them with power slide.

You're forgetting about PS3 exclusives. That's what makes it superior to 360. In terms of multiplatforms, I get them on my PC. If it so happens it's not on PC, I just get it on PS3 even tho the 360 version might be better (not always the case tho).

I own both and Xbox 360 has sold way more consoles than PS3 so clearly Xbox is superior. Xbox live alone makes it the clear choice. ANd, the PS3 exclusives aren't even that good. I never bothered to finish Metal Gear, Killszone 3 bombed, and GT5 was a total letdown after 5 or 6 years in development and those are just a few examples. Gears of War series, Forza, and Halo. Xbox wins. Regardless of the exclusives though, many a game runs poorly on the PS3 because the tech in the box just isn't that good.

What is funny about your comment is you seem to think that Crysis 2 was not built around 360 then ported to PC, first step is denial. Then again maybe you enjoy, dumbed down, linear mediocrity. You seem to enjoy things that are half-assed, unfinished, you must enjoy being lied too then paying $60 for it.
It is already been prove that the C2 graphics are unable to compete with C1 and Crysis 1 textures are used just half the size. The story isn't half as good as Crysis 1 (just so you know, when making a sequal it is a good idea that the storys mesh), retarding the Nanosuit is a given (speed and strength are...well nothing in C2), the physics are almost non-existed except for scripted crap. Also the suit seems to hold your hand the entire time...very console guided gameplay. Seems to me you are attempting to justify to yourself Crysis 2 is better then Crysis 1 to feel better about your purchase.
As for BF3 I will wait, let it release, a few patches come out, and read non-bias, unbribed reviews, and read player reviews as well. I learned my lesson from Crysis 2. All game companies who multi-platform are guilty of mediocrity until proven innocent.

I lol'd. Paying to twice to use your own internet is kind of funny...seeing as PS3 is free to use online...just saying. The hardware of PS3 is superior the specs prove it. Xbox360 is nice but it is far from the better system.

@ SilentPhenomed
Why are the Ceph walking instead of flying and shooting cryo-weapons? What happened to Nomad and Psycho? What happend when Prophet went back? Why the hell can't I run over a lamp post with a heavy armored vehical? How come things like news stands are invincible?
I acctually used speed alot. The reason the suit was gimped was so console players didn't have a heart attack attempting to use more then 2 or 3 features. Don't want to overload them.
Congrats on being one of the few people to acctualy think Crysis 2 is better then Crysis 1 story. You are welcome to your opinion. If I had time I could tear down the Crysis 2 story and how it doesn't mesh with Crysis however I don't so enjoy your fantasy world!
