This game is 100% broken...

... Or at least it is if you take any notice of most of the posts on this forum as every aspect of the game has been trashed at some point. Then people wonder why Beth try to appeal to the masses.

As the old saying goes " You cant please any of the people some of the time and you cant make an omelete without raising a chicken from the dead. " .. at least I think thats how it goes.

Yet this thread is entirely useless when you don't address the points YOU have for us here. Consider putting more thought and work in a thread. Being coherent does wonders!

Yep, going by a lot of the topics posted by whiners I'd say this would have to be the worst game ever made. Probably why I ignore the whiners.

who did they try to please? Their customers? Im pleased. I've played Morrowind, Oblivion, every fallout. I'd say im and avid RPG player, and im pleased.

so what the problem is?

You bring up an interesting point.

One only needs to contrast this board with Neogaf to gather something doesn't add up. Back there people are raving about the game and I wouldn't exactly describe Neogaf as a nest of really devoted Beth Phanboys. Now, i'm not saying people criticizing the game - of which I have yet to received my paid copy - people criticizing the game are being insincere.

I'm saying it's now hard to reconcile the ugly picture generally being portrayed around here with that Neogaf's offering and with the recent wave of positive reviews. Again, i have no doubt people pointing out flaws are sincere. But something doesn't add up..

I do have to state bugs and poor PC interface design seem to be fairly common complaints, so I guess these issues should be addressed in the forthcoming patch.
I reserve my judgement on this matters for when I've played the game myself.

The game is terrific, only some minor bugs and UI issues. Maybe people should just whine less?

Hard to tell how I've been able to play 20 hours so far into a 100% broken game. Either I'm very lucky or you're very unfortunate. If you've stumbled across a bug you're welcomed to report it in the appropriate section.

Nothing new, games people are anticipating and hyped up about will always disappoint some people and they overreact. There are plenty of legitimate complaints but there'll also be people who act as though their dreams have been crushed.

Ya, just logged on here quickly to say I'm having fun in the game. Probably my only gripe (which I've now gotten over since I'm used to the new interface) is that while it is nice to look at the map, I'm finding it difficult to navigate using it. I've gotten used to the world map though and it is easier after a weekend of gameplay ,but the black interior maps I'm having difficulty seeing where the walls lead. Could just be me though. I'm on xbox. Anyhoo, aside from the non-issue, IMO, I'm having too much fun. Spent the entire weekend playing (to the dismay of my wife) and I haven't even touched the main quest. I've found one word wall (Bleak Falls Barrow) but haven't learned any Shouts yet. There's just way too much other stuff to do.

Y'all need to stop whining. The game is a ton of fun. Get over the fact that it is NOT in the least anything like MW or OB (other than taking place in the same world) and if you can get your brain to accept change, you'll enjoy this game. It has a different way of doing things. Not worse, just different so it takes some getting used to. I'm loving it.

Later!

There will always be complainers, who find the smallest things to fixate on, in order to get their fix of pessimism and negativity for the day.

Unfortunately for us, a ton of them are playing Skyrim instead of MW3.

You know I see it another way. In the geek community for some reason it's cool and subversive to hate and nitpick on good things; to secretly pretend you hate things you like. I don't know if it's from a level of "outsider rebellion" or what, but come on people. Smile at life once in a while. This game deserves those insanely high scores it has. Is it perfect? No until we have TES 9 with virtual reality to explore all of Tamriel there will be limits, but I challenge you to find me any game that is better than this one.
