Is this a plausible playthrough? (help from lore buffs)

Ok, bear with me because this might end up being longer than I'd like. With the release of Dragonborn I'd like to make a new playthrough in which I will, for the first time, use the promotinal Dragonborn as a template. What I want to know is, is it plausible within the existing lore of The Elder Scrolls for the player character of Skyrim to be a time-traveling, amnesiac Hjalti Early-Beard? My idea revolves around Talos the God wanting to legitimize his legend by sending Hjalti to the future so that he could master his Thu'um as well as preserve the kalpic cycle. He would then return to the second era to become the Talos of myth capable of achieving all the feats attributed to him. Hjalti being a dragon would be susceptible to the tampering of time and upon arriving in the fourth era is oblivious to his true nature and purpose thus the disconnect. Does this make sense or are ther too many time paradoxes and what not for this tow work?

Since Talos is considered, IIRC, a Shezzarine (avatar of Lorkhan), it can be considered that Hjalti (Who I think is Talos) is sent from Lorkhan. I am still a lore trainee, and this is the best I can think of. It is your game, and lore isn't always perfect and accurate so there can always be an explanation to your play style. I am sure another lore buff will catch wind of this thread and give a better response as I am sure I mucked up mine a little

Hjalti is (part of) Talos. Talos has http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Wulf before.

Time travel's not new either. Pelin-el Whitestrake did it.(How, we don't know)

So go ahead, nothing too outlandish about this concept.

I think Talos fills Lorkhan's absence, but he is made up of one shezzarine as far as I know (Wulfharth).

Talos is one part Wulfharth, one part Zurin Arctus, and one part Hjalti/Tiber Septim.

Ah nevermind, misunderstood the statement
