This is just abysmal, how did this guy get into a voice acting career? Why would Bethesda hire him, or not ask him to redo the line?

I've put this on infinite loop. Now all I need is some techno music to play on the background, and some re-mix of it, and we've got a hit on youtube! Anyone?

Perhaps he was hired because of this reason? :D They wanted everyone to hate Farengar? :D

Yes....

He is by far the worst voice actor i have ever, ever heard in a video game. Clearly he only got a role because he is a close friend of someone in Bethesda or a family member, because he sure didn't get hired for his voice acting talent.

I thought Craig Sechler was bad, but this guy wins by milestones.

How funny. I actually really like this guy's voice. The same as Vorstag, right? I love to hear him talk.

I'm serious.

Yep, exactly this probably. Compared to Ralofs voice actor, hes is just nothing. On his own hes nothing, actually.

On the brighter side it makes it all the more sweet when you tear his throat out (or heart if you're a werewolf lol)

but DAMN I wish NPCs actually screamed, I've heard more begging from people being tickled...

Isn't that also the voice of the Silverblood man that says "My wife, they killed her." sounding like he was describing an exceptionally boring day in the office?

Ah, voice acting. You can do it right, and you can do it wrong. So wrong :shakehead:

I gotta admit, I kind of felt bad for the guy as soon as I heard Farengar speak. I mean, the voice is distinctive, and could be really good, but the delivery... I honestly wonder if the actor received any coaching or direction at all.

Damn, you make me feel a little sorry for him..

Its true his very is very distinctive, and could have been a great character.. but he acts so blandly. I wonder why they even hired him to be one of the few 'unique' voices we hear, we could have gotten someone much better.

and i agree, what happend to the voice director telling them how to act it? I've seen a few behind the scenes and they tell you almost exactly how each line is supposed to be spoken. Why didn't they tell him to do the line again? The only reason i can see for them keeping him on was like someone said, a relative who put in a good word for him.
