SO has anyone herd of bethesda releasing a patch soon with screen limits so we don't have to play our game with the edges cut off? It's really annoying when someone gives me something and i can't see what i got. My tv is older than i am and doesn't have a remote that can change its settings. so i hope we do get a patch, I sure would love to see my compass c;

Have not heard a word, it's too early. But I am crossing my fingers that the devs will hear our cries and do something. I have searching all across the internet looking for a solution but I just see many more who are stuck in the same boat. It's really a disappointment; I was joking with friends before the release that it would be a shame to play Skyrim on my SDTV because the advertised visuals looked amazing and it just wouldn't be right but hey look! I was right because the aspect ration or what ever else it may be is really screwy.

It really is a hassle having to open my map every five seconds to see if im going the right way, on account of giants deciding i look like dinner. I think they must not care if they havent seen the ps3 crying out for help with this damn zoom. I'd like a patch next week at the latest

I know ... it's aggravating. I sent a support ticket. I suggest most people do also if you want a fix.
