So, I was not able to access the new website until about 3:00pm today (Sunday). I was taking my first look at the new, slow yet still good looking website when I saw that people had all ready been on, at 9:00am!?! Will I still be able to get into the Beta and get all of the goodies for the first people into the page? I was refreshing the page so many times! PLEASE!

I know the feeling, that and after trying to recreate my account several times waiting for each attempt to load.. I found the reason I wasn't getting very far is because my old account still works...?

From the logs i have the site changed around 7:48 PM GMT/BST and i came on then, and the site crashed about 2 seconds later

Well, that is what they SAID, although I heard it was the first wave of peoples that signed up.

Plus, if you look, the video on the site has over 500 views, RIGHT as I signed up, the first seconds the site was up

Chances are they are going by a certain number of people, not a certain time period. Normal betas have between a few houndred to a few thousand people (for closed beta), so im pretty sure everyone who's been posting before the official launch of the site will get a key....

Yeah I had many issues loading up the website. I tried it out every few hours the past 24 hours, but it just came online a few hours ago for me and it took many refreshes at that. A lot of, I believe, 504 codes/denied access due to server not responding or w/e.

I would like to be able to play the beta as well, but I guess the fact that the server was not responding made my attempt futile. Cool new site design though.

i think for it to be fair, they should give everyone a beta key who signed up between this time period. the ones who suffered (including myself) should be acknowlegded. we can only hope they we all get a chance at this sick opportunity
