I thought we were all joking when we said before release:

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:45 am

"GOOD BYE REAL WORLD, GOING 24/7 INTO SKYRIM"

I said it myself, and read it from gamers in every site.

I thought it was somekind of inner joke for all the TES Fans, and feel excited for the, in that time, upcoming 11/11/11

But now I realize that it was no joke. I rather play than sleep. I think I rather break with my girlfriend just to play some more hours.

I really had plans for this winter. I think all of those plans are changing after 11/11/11.

Did the sentence remain as a joke to all of you, or like me are you falling into virtual life addiction?

Well, as someone with a job and a girlfriend, 24/7 in a video game wouldn't work very well. I adore the game, but I can put it down when I need to. Otherwise I'll burn out.

Im trying to not burn myself out with it. I want the game to keep its "new game gloss". I have yet to be to every city yet, and im level 30 with close to 50 hours.

My girlfriend actually plays the game too. We've actually got into a pretty heated argument over who should play first. She won

The other day I realised I had spent 24 hours playing Skyrim non-stop (and I'm not talking Skyrim time). Time just seems to short circuit when playing it. I only took small breaks tp get something to eat but I was still crafting while eating.

So.... damned... addictive. It should come with a government health warning. :brokencomputer:

I knew it wasn't just a joke...but I was in no way prepared for the actuality of going through with it. I have responsibilities, etc, but yeah as far as free time goes...Skyrim is dominating it all. The only game that has been able to tear me away from it is Saints Row the Third.

I wish I had enough free time to just sit and play Skyrim all day. I think the longest non-stop session I've managed thus far has been 5 hours. I've logged 30 hours total, which is still a pretty good chunk of time.

I was so hyped about this game that I didn't think that I'd see sunlight for years. However, now that I've spent some time in Skyrim, I realize that the real world isn't so screwed up that I don't mind being there, so much. I find cruising these forums is a nice distraction, tho-.

Just think... the Creation Kit hasn't even been released yet, nor has any official DLC come out yet.

I'm milking this game as much as possible. I'm level 20 and I've mainly been wandering around doing whatever comes to mind.

I've been playing this game so much that I don't have time to play [game that should never be mentioned on this forum] and other games that came out last week.

I feel you my fellow forumites!

My days are still going by normally, but I'll admit to having Skyrim creep into my thoughts in moments where it doesn't belong. :P

I said it a few times and its pretty bad, I've had friends over and I sneak away to play it. I barely had time to play since I have computer issues and can only go on my sisters PC when shes not home and I somehow have clocked 56 hours. I feel the addiction going down by like 5% but its pretty bad, I've wanted to skip my classes and lectures to play Skyrim too. Oh well when somethings fun comes around let it consume your life then move on I suppose.

dude your a beast idk hwo you do it

im at the 55 hour mark and am seriosuly obsessed... ive done so many side quests and faction quests, still need the thieves guild and dark brotherhood factiosn to complete and havent even touched the main quest, i left off right when the grey beards make you go find a horn thing or something idk, but once that quest was done i couldnt help myself and said [censored] it, im gonna go exploring... i have so many hours ahead of me, i still want to finish thieves guild.. then iwant to collect the 8 dragon priests mask which wil ltake a while to find since i wont look up locations online, then dark brotherhood, then explore some more and see where the world brings me... im nto planning on doing the main quest until i feel like what im doing around the world is pointless... by then ill probably be near the 100 hour mark and then begin the main quest... honestly this game is just amazing
