I'm wondering if the archery will be as efficient as it is in Skyrim. I personally Love being an archer, while leveling skills like sneak and lock picking.

I have a level 86 and 57 in skyrim both of witch use strictly use bows. My concern is that archery may not be quite as effective in this mmo.

what do you guys think? or hope ?

It's looking really weak at the moment, going by the gameplay video they just released.

It was weak, did way less damage than using any spell. And spells are said to be weak compared to melee, so that puts bows right at the bottom.

You mean the base attack? That's pretty standard in MMO's. I suspect the special abilities for all weapons will do more than the base attack...that's why they are "special" and the other is "base."

The abilities from the bow, like the AoE, looked to be doing quite a bit of damage.

I don't think he was trying very hard. Plus, it looked like he had his points in magic and melee as well, not just his bow.

Yea that kind of bugged me a little I just hope he didn't have it leveled very far cause the character he used also used a axe and mace combo, and magic. so maybe if you were to stick with just the bow..... better end results.

Seemed like that. He wasn't going for optimal, just showing as many play-styles as he could on one character.
