Thoughts on Dragon Armor?

Am I alone in thinking that armor crafted from the bones and scales of dragons should be better than daedric?

Yep.

Dragonscale armor in Morrowind was not as effective as Daedric, so it follows form really.

Dragons may be magical beasts, but the are still of Mundus. Daedra are immortal beings from another dimension.

It's MUCH easier to make and upgrade than Daedric, so I think it should be slightly weaker.

Nope, dragon bones weigh a lot! Seriously, take one out of your inventory and drop it on the ground, it sounds like... like... uh.... well, just try it.

Oh...so it's a lore thing? I wasn't aware of this.

Thank you. The world makes sense now :-)

Besides respawning daedra hearts and respawning ebony ores and ingots you can get at lv 1. I find that easier than killing several dragons.

Speaking of dragon stuff...where's my fang of the...well the dagger with the electric damage enchant. Its the friggin tooth of a dragon, and would fit right at home here.

I think the dragons would disagree with you on that. As would the Elves.

Pretty much only humans think they started off mortal.
