Thoughts on RE7 so far (no spoilers)

I just bought the game last night and within the first hour I've already jumped out of my seat a few times. I'm loving the game so far, it's definitely worth the money. Without any spoilers, what is everyone's opinions on the game? I think it's a great survival horror and a good one in the Resident Evil series.

Surprisingly, a throwback to pre-RE4 times. Probably least amount of monsters in any of the games, but they are more dangerous, also more focus on atmosphere and horror elements since... pretty much ever.

Still, it's umistakingly a RE game with heads to blow up with a shotgun and giant monster bosses.

And in the end it's all revealed to be an out-of-control bio weapon, as per tradition.

Leagues better then 5 or 6, nice troll with the demo, Capcom :P

Haven't played it yet, but I would like to. I gave in and spoiled myself on the plot though. I played RE4 too many times to count and I recently beat REmake, which are both fantastic games. Hopefully RE7 is impactful like those two games were. Good to hear many great reviews for it so far.

Yeah, I'm also watching a youtuber play it.

For some reason, I can't get through these games when I play them. I get stressed out and don't want to continue on survival games like this where you have very minimal rescources.

I've beaten games considered by many to be extremely hard, but I can't beat any horror games akin to this one.

Love watching it though.
