[REQz] Throw Grenade on Key-press

Post » Mon Dec 27, 2010 4:48 pm

Hey. I remember an old mod for Fallout 3 where you could just throw a grenade by pressing G. I think the early versions of it had it mapped on the hotkeys instead and didn't use FOSE. Could anybody look into it? I really really miss that one :)

I loved FPS style grenade hotkey. That was easily one of my favorite mods. Hopefully it gets ported over into New Vegas. I really, really miss this one.

If a mod needed the Script Extender for Fallout 3... it's going to need it for NV.

Earlier versions that are still listed at Nexus IIRC didn't need fose.

And they didn't work when you pressed the G key, they used the hotkey slots.

Do hotkeys require fose?

...no, that's why the non-FOSE version uses the existing 1-8 hotkeys rather than G or any other keyboard key.

That's not entirely true. There are some new functions in the NV Geck that do the same thing as functions in FOSE. Unfortunately, some of the really useful ones (like loops/key press detection) didn't get put in.
