Is the time dilation in the game slower then it was in Oblivion?
Not that it matters at all but I used to know how long it would take in Oblivion (seconds real life = minutes in Oblivion) but it seems I'm coming up short in Skyrim. It doesn't matter I'm just making a curious observation.
From memory, I believe that the standard timescale (ratio of real-world time to game-world time) is 30 in Oblivion and 20 in Skyrim. In either game, if you want to check it, you can open the console and use the command "show timescale". To change it, use "set timescale to X", where X is your desired timescale. (Personally, I use X = 5, but I've spent a lot of time in Oblivion at timescale 2 and I've heard of people using timescale 1.)

Gotcha. I thought it seems a little off from Oblivion.
The timescale for Skyrim is certainly a lot better. I do wish it was a dynamic system though (eg combat goes to 1:1, interiors while not doing tasks 1:1 while exploration remains 1:15/20).
