time management games?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 8:54 am

Does anyone know of any good time management games for pc along the lines of My Tribe, meaning you do whatever you do and then leave and check again in the morning to see what happened over night.I hate the games where you have to milk the cows and pick the corn and plant the wheat before the clock runs out.My daughter plays some on facebook and on her phone.Do games like this exist for PC.I.m playing Skyrim and loving it right now but I'm having surgery on my arm and won't be able to do the mouse and keyboard for awhile. Thanks for any suggestions.

If you're really into trains then you should definitely take a look at Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe :)

Reminds me of Ogame. Very fun, very "send fleet to attack and come back 4 hours later to see the results". Forums used to have a guild in that, Lotus Alliance or some such.

I'm not sure how much it's changed over the years though.

There's also the game I'm developing, but that one won't be ready for at least a year :P

OTTD looks alot like sim city which I love but it looks like hours at a time and I don't think my arm will be up for that.I have played fish and plant tycoon but it gets so redundant. There is no mystery as to what will happen over night. The same with My Tribe.Keep trying guys, surgery isn't until next Tuesday. Please don't make me go through computer withdrawl!

Text based deal. I played it a lot in school. Thought it was pretty fun but never got too deep into it.

I think what I'm looking for are the "real time" games but not the real time strategy war games.I'm happy working on the farm or running the hotel I just don't want to be timed.I want to take my time make my decisions and come back hours later and see what happened.Do these games exist off of facebook or the phone?I guess the Tycoon games come the closest but I want them to keep going when I'm not there.

Creatures can be interesting. Set up a world, then leave them to fend for themselves and see what happens. Then export the survivors, do a fun more runs and load all the survivors into a new world.

The only ones I know of are Ogame (sci-fi), Tribal Wars (not exactly sure), Travian (roman/gaulish/something) and Ikariam (greek).

*Warning incoming enemy fleet*

*OMG GOING TO DIE*

*Its a draw, both sides wiped out*

*Quits game but before I do, send message to person who attacked me*

*Haha! Hope you enjoyed dying you evil person! Hope that fleet of yours took ages to make... should have checked when you saw I had 7,000 normal turrets foool!*

Well, thats 6 months of my life gone :P True Story

I guess if you played Total War, and didn't use any of the timespeed settings it would be kind of like this.
