Time-zone mixed up?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 7:04 pm

So i'm still waiting for skyrim to be released on steam, doh! But the thing is, its only 18:58 here now, and it says it takes 7 hours until it unlocks. in 7 hours its almost 02:00 am , thats not 00:00 :/ i thought they would release the game at 00:00 in your own time zone, or atleast thats what im seeing people write here on the forum...

Is it steam that got it messed up or do i really have to wait that long? ( I live in sweden ) I appreciate any information, thx!

The mid-night release for your timezone was changed. Steam counter is correct it is specific for each region.

N/S America for Example unlocks at 12am Estern time 11.11.11 If you live west of such people will get it in their time zone the 10th.

UK follows the same but I for one do not know 100% of them.

But again Steam is correct.

I believe the Steam unlocks are split only to a degree, so the whole of Europe unlocks on GMT.

EDIT: So just under 6 hours as it is now past the hour.
