Short description of my main character: male, Bosmer, mid 30s, got attacked by a bunch of bandits, left for dead in the Eastmarch [this is thanks to Arthmoor's http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9557] and completely lost his memory due to brain damage. He wandered aimlessly for a while and reached Riften, where he was approached by this Brynjolf guy who introduced him to the thieves guild. He found out he had a natural attitude for thieving and killing and subsequently joined the Dark Brotherhood. He's now the leader of both guilds and not being particularly fond of vampires he just joined the Dawnguard hunters. Still, he doesn't know who really is nor who he was before the bandits attack. Even though he's basically evil he tries so hard to be neutral and coherent with himself but he has no idea what his destiny is. Perhaps one day he'll found out he's the Dragonborn [no, I didn't even start the MQ nor the Civil War] and will repent himself for his actions against innocent people. Main skills: archery, sneak, lockpicking.
This is how I play:
- compass and quest markers disabled
- health regen disabled
- timescale set to 6
- fast travel disabled [thanks to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11414 mod. I know I know, one can just avoid fast traveling, but the temptation is high]
- I rarely look at the map, if ever
- I always have from two to four followers with me [thanks to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15524/ mod]
- I rarely use carriages, I always walk or ride my trustworthy Shadowmere, along with my followers horses [thanks to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14950 mod]
- I don't carry more than a certain amount of stuff with me, excluding my own weapons and armor [everything else is in the horses inventory]
- before you ask, I don't feel like wasting my character on a DID playthrough
I have yet to find a simple and good mod for primary needs, even though I eat and sleep on a regular basis, and I badly need a realistic carrying system mod. I didn't open the thread in the Mods section because I'm basically looking for ideas, not necessarily mod-related, but feel free to add everything that comes to your mind.
