Pete Hines said, "While Todd was not part of the development teams, he was an integral part of id Software’s success as the business head of the studio and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
Now that Todd's gone, he'll probably just be replaced by someone from Zenimax. That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. The more Zenimax gets involved with id, the more of a chance that id will become more focused and start making games that are more than just decent.
As for Todd: I wonder what he plans to do with himself now that he's essentially closed down this entire chapter of his life. Maybe go on vacation and invest some of his millions into something?
I hear there is a new fad involving a ball and a cup.
