Greetings, forumites! I've been trying to figure something out and I'm at a loss as to what I'm dealing with. My left tonsil has developed a sort of...indentation, roughly in the middle, so that it looks like a deep sort of crater separates the upper and lower halves of the left palatine tonsil. I've tried googling, but I haven't been able to find trustworthy information on what this particular thing could be. I have never in my life expelled any sort of Tonsillolith, nor do I have any symptoms indicative of tonsillitis, or any symptoms at all beyond this newly acquired deformity to my left tonsil.
Well, scratch that, There's a canker sore right next to my left tonsil. The pain from the canker sore is what caused me to notice the change in the tonsil's shape.
Anyway, does anyone have any idea what this could be? Preferably with links?
Also, before you ask:
Yes, I am going to a doctor about this. I'm due for a physical anyway.
