Really, there is just too many people hacking. Every game I join, there is at LEAST 2 people hacking.
Plenty of times where I've unloaded a whole clip from my Scar into a persons head (even when they're not in armor) and they just turn around and one shot me while I'm in Armor Mode. I've also seen plenty of people just unloading their gatling guns into others(Sorry, don't know the name of the specific weapon) while in stealth without ever leaving it, and I've seen lots of people run at super speeds.

I like Crysis 2 - when I'm able to play. So please do something so that me (and I'm sure many others) can enjoy the game.

Thats disappointing, I havent had time to play multiplayer over the weekend to see if the anti-cheat software was working. I guess it isn't in full effect yet?

I honestly don't think there's any anti-cheat software at all; Just tried a different server because of the hackers in the last one and it was just insta-death whenever I spawned.

Although I prefer playing with a keyboard and mouse, I'm wishing I got the xbox version or something now. At least there would be less hackers.
Even Crysis 1 wasn't this bad, and Crytek did nothing to stop hackers in that game.

The anti cheat software is a joke. I surfed a lot of the "EA Official" servers, and each of them had hackers. Wall Hacks, Aim bots, Infinite energy for nanosuits. The whole nine yards...EA should be embarrassed for not incorporating better anti-cheat software, or at least using PunkBuster to monitor. A lot more reliable than GameSpy.

Yeah this is really disappointing. Maybe I'll just come back and play this game when the hackers get bored of killing other hackers.

I encountered a hacker who was basically using a no-clip hack just earlier. Going inside objects and shooting at people. :/

If you pay attention, you'll notice a lot more hackers than that. Those are the obvious ones. There's LOTS of people using the cloak hack (shooting/melee doesn't drain their energy and boot them out of stealth)

Had hackers/cheaters in like 8/10 of my latest games played, the stealth hack is really obviousy and popular. Also running into people shooting me in the foot from the other side of the map with a SCAR and killing me instantlym only one shot that is (full hp/armour up). Started to see people INSIDE buildings too, meaning you can't see them, but they can see and shoot through the wall at anyone passing outside, a teleport hack I guess.

I've been pretty supporitive of this game and shrugged obvious issues off, but now Im getting fed up, can't even play with friends cause we keep getting our experience ruined by constant cheaters/people failing at life.

If only troubled developers could stop babygloving cheaters and just **** ban them. Its starting to feel a bit like when people defend rapists by saying she dressed provocatively. Makes no **** sense.

That is at least one thing Blizzard does right.

I remember people begging Crytek to get some better Anti-hack system in Crysis 1 but that never happened. I'm hoping they will treat their customers a little better this time.

No way, I'm one of these really good playing ppl, at level 38 now ... I'm at every game under the first 3, most on first place ... every until every third game I'm MVP ... and I don't cheat!!! I saw other very good playing ppl with great kill series and K/D rates and they didn't cheated too.

Don't forget up leveled suite modes are very very good ... my favorites are all at level 3, that makes a huge difference and is a great advantage against every body who hasn't up leveled yet

I think I can differentiate who is a cheater and who is no cheater.

BTW, before the two little server patches I saw many cheaters too ... but now there are gone, at least at these servers I play.

Hours after the security fixes were implemented (as reported by several players) I started seeing the cloak cheat, then I saw the unlimited nade and rocket cheats pop up not long afterwards. The truth is the people making these cheats KNOW THEIR STUFF and discovering the algorithms implemented against cheats is second nature to them.

The only game I've played that didn't have cheaters is Shattered Horizon. Some say it's because not enough people played it to warrant developing cheat programs. I think it was because the Devs actually PLAYED the game (and still do!) and cared enough to tighten up the code when they felt it was necessary. If the Crytek Devs got involved with the MP I think the cheat exploits would be top priority (Cry-Adam says it is) and Crytek would employ a solid anit-cheat company to take care of it. They got rid of Punkbuster during the Crysis Wars days and I wonder if they might consider using them again.

The biggest problem faced is that the cheat developers are some smart monkeys who know how to code and, more importantly, decode software and they are hard to defend against. There's money to be made in providing their brand of poison.

You shouldn't play official servers but clan servers. Those are usually whatched by their admin (clan member who payed for his server), so hackers/cheaters don't come here, at least less often.

There's one cheat I've seen, where, a guy will shoot at me, and he doesn't even have to be looking at me--the bullets will still come right at me and hit the mark with a head shot. A lot of times I get killed and automatically assume somebody is cheating, then realize they're just good. Thats the problem with reporting cheaters, aside from rampant aimbotting, or turbo running like the frikkin' flash, its difficult to differentiate between cheaters, and downright good players.

If killed by one shot of pistol or one shot of pump actipn gun on full hp armor up, kill by somone across the map with a scar, see some abuse of support power use also at start 0 kills (omega and artillery), see than someone know exactly where u are also if u are stealthed across a wall, empty 1 SCARAB cardrige to someone and nothing happen is not cheating, YES THERE IS NO CHEATERS HERE


(oh and i'm lvl 31 and not notice any difference on my 8lvl armor up, they can kill me fast like at the beginning with scar)

not armor, stealth or energy (these are only to unlock the suite modes, my are 11/12/12) ... the suite modes are the great advantage, e.g. armor enhanced (maximum upgrade is level 3) ... as I said, u don't have read my post

Its pretty easy to tell pro from cheaters.
You can tell they way they use the map and move around and their overall knowledge of the map.
As soon as you only focus on his aim you will be a bad admin.

Fellshadow, I know exactly what you mean. same thing has been happening to me more often than not. It was getting frustrating for awhile and still is. I thought it was a connection issue and in times it may be.

I was playing a team instant on the lighthouse map and I was looking for the other team and hardly could see where anyone was. I was running all over the place too. I stopped and camped out and all of a sudden, zoom, right past me runs one of my team, fully cloaked out, only saw his name go by and he was at the other end in about 6 seconds.

I look up and see the scrolling update list showing him killing every member of the other team. I checked the scoreboard and he had already killed 50 by that time and everyone else has only 2 or 3. I left the game......

I learned to keep checking the scoreboard often from that episode, cause hackers are not always on the other team.

My other issue was I was forgetting to hold down the left shift key while aiming and firing. That helped alot! I couldn't figure out why I could go right up behind someone and shoot right in the back nearly point blank range, and they turn around and boom I'm dead cause I uncloaked and have no armor!

Last thing, when I press my spacebar to jump it takes a half second or so for me to actually jump in game. Does anyone else have that same issue?

But you have to figure it out by your selfs ... it took me a long time to find some more ;P
