+1 for Stormcloaks vs Imperials probably the greatest rivalry of all time.

I would have appreciated it if Stocke Vs. Heiss from Radiant Historia made it up there. Or the Player Character Vs. Jon Irenicus in Baldur's Gate 2.

Pagans vs Hammerites

Mario vs Sonic, Scorpion vs Sub-Zero, Spy vs Spy, Solid vs Liquid

It should of been a top 5 list or something because it looks like IGN pulled reasons (excuses) out of their rears to make a top 25 list. Mario vs Luigi? Non-existent rivalry. Assassins vs Templars or Terrorists vs Counter-Terrorists? That's just good guy vs bad guy. So I guess by that logic every game that has a protagonist and antagonist should be considered a rivalry.

Link and Ganon are a big one, and probably one of the earliest.

Star Fox and..Star Wolf?

Red and Blue are in my ultimate spot. Can't say I agree with most of these, though the last one makes me laugh.
