Ed-E?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 1:14 pm

No matter what I try I can't "collect" Ed-E to take him to be repaired.

I only get the Need Science or Repair skills or leave it alone.

What am I doing wrong? I have talked to the home owners and get no dialog that helps.

Thanks for a walkthru or tips on Ed-E.

What makes you think he can be collected to be repaired? I'm under the impression that quest is only for after he's repaired.

You have to use your science or repair skill on him. If you have a skill book use it to boost them. Or come back when you have those stats up. Then you need some parts.

So save some sensor modules, scrap metal and spare electronics.

Because thats what the old black dude tells you to do.

The old black dude says he would scrap it there, not that he'd get it repaired. It's just a non-intuitive clue that that's where you should go with ED-E. And maybe that you can find parts there for the repair.

3 options to repair him.
1st is with high science skill
2nd is with high repair skill
(think both above is 65, if you have put a few points into either it is easy to boast it with drugs and magazines).
3rd is with using parts. Cant remember off the top of my head but think its a couple of scrap metal, couple of scrap electronics and I think maybe a sensor module.

You need a repair skill of 65. Or a science skill of 55 and a repair of 35 (something like that) OR you need scrap (3)scrap metal (2)sensor module and (1)scrap electronics, if I remember correctly.

Thanks so much for the replies!

I thought it said something like "take robot to scrap yard to repair"?

I am almost high enough in repair to fix it (him?) so will just work on getting the parts and the skills - Thanks again!
