I don't remember which fortress area it's in, but every time I try to access my magic menu, the game and console completely seize. It's the first time I've noticed this problem in the game and it's making me tear my hair out as I can't use any of my more powerful spells since I haven't thought to put them on my favorites. It's pretty much got me stuck in an area now because I'm underground and I can't access any healing spells and I have no potions, essentially stonewalling this character and the time I've already invested into it.

Any idea on what's causing the problem and how I can fix it?
