Total locations?

Post » Fri Oct 12, 2012 2:14 am

I can't seem to find a definitive answer so i thought i would ask here. I'm currently at 340 locations discovered and have done just about everything in game and rarely fast travel yet I feel as if i'm missing many locations. I have dawnguard so i know that adds a few locations but if anyone knows the exact number of locations pre or post dawnguard it would be much appreciated. Also feel free to share any locations that seem out of the way or easily missed..for instance i've recently discovered stendarrs beacon

I think you are close. Do you have the PC version? I ask because I have a console command trick I can show you (and no it isn't 'tmm 1')

I think there are approx 348 locations in vanilla (your discoverable locations can change depending on how many temporary camps you visit in the CW before they disappear). With Dawnguard I think I have a stat of 360. I might have to check in game, though.

Well it is similar to 'tmm 1' (which shows all map markers) but entering 'tmm 1,0,1' shows map markers BUT you cannot travel there yet (Think of it as the Explorer perk from Fallout 3/NV)

http://imageshack.us/a/img835/8608/dawnguardlocations.jpg is my in-game stat, though of course there are a lot of places of interest in the game that don't have map markers. Kagrenzal, a dwarven ruin high in the mountains NE of Riften may be a remote place you haven't found yet. There's also Japhet's Folly which you don't get to unless you are doing the quest Rise in the East for it.
