Alright, so I'm a little late to the Skyrim bandwagon, but I'm downloading the game as I type this. One thing I want to know is, about how many total perk points will there be? I hear people saying 50-70, and if so, do you still get perk points per level after that first 50-70 or is it endgame and will I have to plan out my perk trees according to the 70 points I may have?

You get a perk per level, but the leveling really slows down around level 50. Most characters will max out around 70-75 according to what we've heard.

I'm pretty sure I read that you stop getting perks after level 50... But can still level up.

Old info. They finally decided that it's better if you can still keep getting perks. You level slower though after 50 and the scaling is balanced around a 1-50 scale. So you'll have to grind for the rest.
