Yeap, Skyrim is a big win. I'll have to give my travel agent a bonus for sending me to the north of Tamriel :) .

The graphics, gameplay, and audio, are superb and the mechanics are becming more comfortable the more I playit. Performance is right up there even with everything (except Anti-Aliasing which I have turned off) up to max and running at 2560x1600. I'm still getting used to the interface. But, even that's getting easier to deal with the more I learn about where everything is and what it all does. Great job, developers. :D

This is an amazing game. I swear, this topic is literally the first positive thread I've seen in awhile. I popped by the forums to see what everyone was up to in the game to find about 300 negative threads created since last night. This game is everything I've waited these few years for, and I can't wait to sit down and play it again. Thanks, Bethesda, for delivering on my most anticipated title of all time.

P.S. Thanks OP for creating a positive thread. Now, let's all head back to Skyrim and leave the negative Nancy's here to complain in the forums.

I agree with what I've seen so far. Out of the "box" (Steam) this is the most complete game I've played in a long time. I was so happy that it just worked and was pretty easy to get into... I can see myself losing many hours in this magical world.

Played for an hour, when I get home from work I will be loading that first autosave because I forgot to customize my character appearance, and I can already tell I will play this game for all time. ALL TIME.

13 hours in and just finished the Companions questline. Good stuff. Way, way better than the generic quests the Fighters Guild provided in Oblivion and Morrowind. Also, I'm loving the little random encounters on the road. Nice little touches like that make you feel like the game world is really alive.

I agree. I played for about 5 hours and I'm having a lot of fun, plus it looks great. Love what I've seen of the dungeons so far. Bethesda you did a great job.

Yeah this game is amazing to be honest. I played for 5 hours just doing side questions
You can tell the story is going to be good just by the intro, the graphics look amazing to me and NPC's actually act realistically.

I'm really enjoying it so far, haven't done much questing just wandered around talking to people and earning some cash by chopping wood.

I had a bit of a frustrating start because my keyboard started playing up and I had to find another one but that was a hardware issue nothing to do with the game, once I swapped it for a different one I was off - stumbled a bit over the controls at first but that's to be expected especially since I am a bit cack-handed and the Steam dl version doesn't have a manual so it was all a bit trial and error!!!

But yeah lovely game so far, very easy to lose yourself in :)

I've played 13 hours now, and haven't come up with anything to complain. Maybe the interface could be a bit better on PC, but nothing else. At first I thought the compass would ruin the feel of exploration, but it's placed so that you don't look at it if you don't need to. Many things in the game are done so well I almost wept while playing. :)

Yeah someone should make a forum for Bethesda so those people can voice their concerns.

Oh wait.
