Dear forum users,

I have a problem with Skyrim that is quite annoying and I wish to have it solved.

Right now i'm doing the missions where you have to transcribe the lexicon and retrieve the elder scroll but I can't!

I followed (I think) every step of the mission and it now sends me to the tower with the huge orb in in. So I run up the spiral/stairs towards the 'control panel' where it says ' Press A to transcribe the lexicon' or something like that. The lexicon (and the other orb thing?) are both in my inventory but when I press A, nothing happens. It seems to be broken and I have no clue on how to fix this problem.

Can you please help me out? I have spent way too many hours on Skyrim now to just throw it all away on this mission.

I think you'll need to solve the puzzle first.

Put the lexicon on the recepticle. Then twiddle the buttons until the scoll pops up. Get scroll, get lexicon, done.

If that is not the problem, try reloading from before you entered the dungeon.
