Transformations, VampireWerewolf

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:15 pm

So as we all know we can now transform into a vampire lord as well as the werewolf. The problem here is that the werewolf still unequips everything you are wearing when you turn back whereas the vampire lord does not.
the werewolf should be like this as well, agreed?

I understand the whole idea behind it, but its simply annoying rather than cool.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying. But, I suppose it gives you an incentive to kill things quickly, because if you don't you'll change back and be SOL.

This. Bethesda cannot possibly butcher enough lore to appease casual gamers who love everything easy and dandy. Goodness freaking gracious, man. We need what next? Armored werewolves wielding weapons? Way to murder their own lore if they come up with something like that. People need to stop being lazy and just requip the gear. It is not that hard.

It doesn't make sense for a person who just had their skin shed away by muscles of fur and sinew to wake up with clothes on the back. Werewolves always returned to human form naked in ES games. It has been that way since Daggerfall and it should always be that way.

I wish there was more to the werewolves. Like a race of werewolves you can join. Not the compaions but REAL werewolves. Having to turn into one every full moon, But that's just me.

I would want a plug-in to just expand on the werewolf aspect of the companions.

Yes, I think there actually would be more complaints if you DIDN'T revert back naked, and it's not really all that big of a hassle in my opinion to re-equip everything after transforming in Skyrim due to the favorites system. It's already bad enough that there are people panicking over Dawnguard possibly removing fangs for vampires for some races. I'll also point out too that the transformation into the Vampire Lord form is different in nature than the werewolf one, so there's that as well.

Maybe this is harder to implement than I think, but wouldn't it make sense to let you favorite 2-3 sets of Ensembles (i.e complete equipment setups) so you can switch all of your items at once rather than having to scroll through all of them and select them all individually? That way, reverting out of your transformation naked wouldn't be the annoyance it is now. You could get all of your gear switched with the push of a button, rather than the push of 20.

It'd also help those who like to deequip armor and weapons when they go into towns and wear civilian clothing, or who wear faction armor when doing specific missions.

If they could implement that, it could definitely make equipping items faster, more convenient and less annoying than it is right now. The favorites system is a step in the right direction, but could definitely use improvement.

Yeah, I was thinking that it would be nice if the favorites list could be arranged in categories, like have all the spells together, all weapons together, etc. As it is right now, the whole thing just turns into a mess.

Not just the favorites menu, the items you store in containers need to be sorted based on categories. Not only that, but they need to be sorted in a logical manner. In the menu it's based on alphabetical order, but in the containers it switches pointlessly to stats.

That whole inventory thing drastically needs to be modified.

Yeah, you just reminded me of how awful containers are in Skyrim.

Maybe they're trying to combat hoarding, so they created an awful container system to push you towards only holding onto one or three weapons in a chest at a time.

But.....but! I want My flying Gnome mount!!!!! Todd Howard himself told me I would get one. And I want it. I will sue. OH and I want Dwemer even though they're extinct. Screw it find some wackjob idiotic reason why they still exist. I don't care if its because a Cat was flayed and they hid in its skin and it was a magical cat with anti-dragonbreak powers and all the dwemer were hidden in its skin for a few hundred years. I want it to happen.
BETHESDA I absouletly H A T E the fact I can't be a half elf. I want to be a half-orc-half-elf. I don't care if it makes no sense and it has been already established in your game that it's impossible. I will whine and pout and say I won't but the game if you don't add. But i'll still buy the game anyway because I still love the ElderScrolls series, I mean how can you not? But because you didn't add my Dwemer Cat skin anti-dragonbreak cloak that was put over an entire Dwemer city I'll complain and whine about every little insignificant flaw because you didn't add the one thing I wanted and because I can't wear a Skin suit this game svcks.

I can imagine my character stumbling upon a Dwemer hiding inside a Khajiit.

Orcs are a species of Elf and any child born from parents of any two different races is predominantly the race of the mother, so there is nothing stopping you from pretending your character is of mixed race.
