Wolverine would tear you up.
To that Hawaiian guy, how much wilderness is there on the islands? As in pure, unsettled forests?
Yes, yes, I'm trapped on an island country too. Land area 710 km squared. At least Hawaii is bigger and looks more scenic. I would still give anything to live in a bigger country like Hawaii, albeit a relatively small one.
On Oahu? https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=21.481824,-157.899628&spn=0.426176,0.727158&t=h&z=11 Go into Street View on that and you'll see exactly what I mean.
You see that big green stretch that goes through the island? That's a very steep mountain that is surrounded by highways and fences. The kind of unsettled land that you could never settle due to the fact that walking around on it is a task alone.
Not very much where I live in other words. The place is a concrete jungle, save for a small amount of beaches on the north side. There is a little garden park on the opposite side of where I live, but it has a paved concrete street and is not really that big.
Imagine doing a 360 spin. No matter where you're standing, unless you have something blocking your sight, you are going to spot a man made structure or vehicle of some sort that is likely still in use less than a mile away from you, usually accompanied with another person. And if that's not the case, there is still the whole Private Property issue.
