I appear to be trapped in vault 22. I have completed the quest 'there stands the grass' but i did'nt find Keeley.So later I went back to vault 22 when i had enough lockpicking skill to unlock a hard door so i could get into the caverrn where she is hiding and found her. We then proceeded to ignite the gas and i met her at her terminal on level 2, i spoke to her and she says we will follow me out when she gets her stuff together...but, when i return to the main entrance there is a locked door (main entrance) that cannot be opened without a key. Can anyone help or is it a bug? On Xbox 360 btw.

EDIT**- I sussed it out. I pickpocketed Keeley to get the console code and used it to unlock the main entrance. I don't see why she'd lock you in with her though. I reckon its a glitch.

How did you ignite the gas without getting incinerated by the flames? I've tried using a laser weapon, grenade launcher, and even a long-fuse stick of dynamite, Using the laser is useless... you just can run fast enough to escape. Even using the grenade launcher is problematical. I had the most success with the stick of dynamite but when zipping around the corner into the room and closing the door, the flames RIP through the door and me as well. Any suggestions?

Get into the computer roo, throw a dynimite and back to the wall

I tossed a grenade, jumped in to a room, and closed the door.

yeah, computer room, throw grenade (or longfuse dynamite), shut door quickly AND run backwards, because some flames lap under the door even if it's shut and will get you if you're too close to the door.

Grenade and the computer room like everyone said however make sure your companion is in there first.

I used the laser from the room with the console in it. Got back as far from the door as possible while still being able to target the gas and fired. The gas did'nt hit me at all.

where do you use the console code to get out?

On Keeley's locked terminal. The one she's sat in front of. Yeah,this puzzle was a bit vague to say the least. :confused:

i just put my guys in the main frame room and placed a c4 shut the door and boom the console is on the second floor the room has a duffle bag on the floor by one of the doors. i think once she sees the research has been downloaded recently she locks the door so she can convince you to destroy it.

with a science check you can keep the data, speech check you can also keep it if you have veronica's quest, Keeley will open the door then

Keely turned hostile on me and I had to kill her because I refused to give up the files I promised to the guy at McCarren. So I got bad NCR rep. I thought I was helping NCR and Keely was being a cyber-eco-terrorist. Then I had to lie to the lab assistant so she would pay me.

Anyway. Long fuse dynamite and close the reinforced computer room while you make your companions wait upstairs with Keely.
