Will followers be able to sail with us to Solstheim? Will we be able to bring new followers back to the mainland? Any speculation--or better, confirmation?

Usually, followers are kept out of DLC areas. No real reason beyond perhaps the game has followers for you to use in the new content, but they usually make you go follower less for the DLC. Even Dawnguard sort of required this. Not to start, but to go from the mid part to the end.

Thanks for the reply, CCNA.

Anyone have any ideas on whether we'll be able to bring followers back for marriage and/or things like The Blades or Stewardship?

I hope so. I will be disappointed if I have to leave Kharjo on the mainland.

I never tried but, could you take a follower to Point Lookout? I don't think it was possible to bring anyone into the Shivering Isles either.

I hope my hand-made follower will be able to come with me.

I don't think you could take anyone to Point Lookout, though that answer is just what my hazy memory supplies.

I really hope we can bring all of those sweet Solstheim hotties back to Skyrim to, you know, share the love--and, of course, so they can buy me a cow at Lakeview.

Nope. The only dlc where followers were "allowed" was Broken Steel.

the blades won't take any more of my followers for now.... i have stewards in all my hearthfire houses and i'm married... so i'll be bummed if that's an option and i won't be able to use it. i wish they'd let us divorce, or remarry if we murder our spouse i mean, if my spouse "accidentally" walks into my ebony blade and dies.
