Trophy not unlocking

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:49 am

Hi, I beat the game with zero kills and the Clean Hands trophy didn't unlock. I've checked all my stats and they all say that I did not kill anyone. I was wondering if this is a game problem or a Sony problem? How are these problems fixed? I've tried just replaying the last mission to see if it would unlock, will I have to play the game again on a new save for it to unlock? It's not a big problem, just curious.

Did you happen to sleep dart Granny Rags at any point?

Yeah, but it said she was unconscious. Does that count as a kill? How am I supposed to take her down then? will the choke hold do it? It says zero kills on my stat screen though...

Edit: If I replay the mission will it give me the trophy? Or will I have to replay the mission to the end of the game?

Yes replay that mission, or start at a save from before you sleep darted her.

It's my understanding that for some reason, sleep darting her increments your kill count. Choke her out and you will be golden. If she teleports away while choking, keep trying, and you will eventually manage to choke her out for good.

Basically, make her mortal and then choke. Don't sleep dart her.

If the award isn't unlocked at the end of that mission (when reaching the Hound Pits Pub), then try playing again to the end. It should give you the award afterwards.

Also, It will say zero kills on the stat screen for this. This is the only instance where you non-lethally deal with someone and get an "invisible death" in your stats.

Sounds like that's the issue

How do I meet the requirements for the ‘Ghost/Shadow/Specter/Faceless/Clean Hands’ Achievements/Trophies?
  • Killing the Weepers present in the sewers beneath the Hound Pits Pub just before The Golden Cat mission will count against the Clean Hands achievement, but will not count against the achievements dealing with being spotted.
  • If Granny Rags is Sleep Darted or Choked Out after destroying the Cameo in the Flooded District Mission, this will count as a kill and will prevent you from getting Clean Hands.

Choke her out and you will be golden

We've seen some folks report that choking her out prevents you from getting the achievement, too. We're currently investigating this.

That counts as another for another one reporting that choking her doesn't give me the trophy. Played to the end of the game from Flooded District just to be safe, no dice. On the plus side I got a couple of extra ghost ratings, so maybe I don't need to play the entire game again in order to get more stealth trophies.

Is there a handy list somewhere that details the exact requirements for the Ghost and Clean Hands trophies (besides the obvious checkboxes)? I've redone the flooded district with every variation of Granny Rags resolution (Dart, choke, pickpocket and run), I've redone the other Granny Rags bit to avoid poisoning the still. Is there some aspect of linear progression that must be maintained to trigger those trophies? What am I missing?

Im in the same boat, but for xbox360. I did a whole playthrough and got my ghost achievement, but yet no clean hands?! the only thing i can think of is i had to go back on two missions to do them over due to a someone being killed, poor body placement on guards etc id assume. I stayed up till 1am and had to work at 6, that really upset me. They should make this more clear, does reloading a mission cause you not to recieve the achievement/throy?

Hello,
I have a similar problem. I collected all paintings but didnt get the trophy. I assume its because i didnt do it in my first playthrough. there were a few missions I didnt pick all the paintings so I started the missions again from the menu. The statistics says that I have them all so I am not sure what to do now. The same goes for the ghost trophy... BTW, I did get both trophies for helping Slackjaw and the old woman through reloading a Mission. Clear Hands Throphy worked for me.
Beside that this game is really great and my GOTY for the Ps3

I read on another website that a few trophies (like ghost I believe) has to be one playthrough, but I can't say if that's reliable.

I also have a problem with Ghost/clean hands, but it seems like they're looking into it :o

I believe that trophies such as, ghost, clean hands and shadow all need to be on the one playthrough, I completed the game without killing anyone and achieved clean hands without any problems, but on the second mission I alerted one of the guards without noticing and finished the mission. Assuming i could return to the mission i played on, when i had finished the game i returned to the second mission and did not alert anyone, I still did not acquire the trophy. I think unfortunately you will need to replay the game in order to acquire these trophies.

Maybe Arcane should patch this "one playthrough" problem, unless of course they did this on purpose so people would replay over and over.
