I just got Skyrim and i am afraid that i need help already. I am trying to install the software and i keep getting the
same error, that i am not the administrator, that i need to log in as the administrator and try to install the software
again. I am the administrator and i am the only account on the computer. I am running it was win7 and everything
is more than enough to run Skyrim. Thanks in advance for your help.

What software, you mean steam? A bit more info please.

I am trying to install Skyrim from the disk that i received in the mail a little while ago.

Right click the installer executable (like setup.exe) and choose "Run as Administrator"

I'd do a quick check of your system permissions. If you rightclick the folder you're trying to install to and pick the Security tab, you should have some options to edit how permissions are set for your system. I had to tweak mine a while back even though I'm the sole user of my computer as well.

I just wanted to thank Sharkhat and everybody else that helped. I should have thought of that to be honest with you.
I was just wanting to get it installed and wasnt thinking very good. Again thanks for the help.
