The quest Trouble in Skyrim is bugged where if you have already cleared out the Valtheim Tower before getting the quest you cannot complete it. This causes you to not be able to take on other companion jobs. The quest is moved down to the completed portion of the quest journal but has the 'Return to Fargas' task unfulfilled. I'm pretty sure this will completely break The Companions quest line. Anyone know how to fix this? Or will it require reloading old save data? I am running the patch.

*Update* Apparently you can fulfill this quest for Avanecci as well by asking the barmaid at the Bannered Mare for work which I was then able to complete it and not have to do it for the Companions. So if you visited Valtheim Tower before getting the quest make sure you hit up the Bannered Mare for this quest before doing any Companions quests to avoid this bug. This quest is not the firstr one given by the bar maid so you will have to do a few other bounty quests before getting it. Hope this helps someone in the future.
