Hi everyone,

So I am trying to complete Forbidden Legends, and I now have an issue. I didn't know you were supposed to read the notes found on the body of Daynas Valen, because I didn't have the quest active. Well I went through the whole dungeon, and then brought everything back to my home and placed the books on the shelf, without reading the notes. Now when I try to read them for the quest, the system doesn't advance the quest. Is there any way around this or am I stuck with a bugged quest? Also as a side note, 360 player so I can't use the console to advance the quest manually.

Did you read the book Lost Legends?

Sometimes dropping the notes on the ground, then reading them while your character is picking them up will work.

Yes, I believe so, that's how I found the quest in my log, it told me to go read the journal which I did, but now the notes are causing some issues.

Damn. Well, hopefully bradleyh's suggestion will work.

Well I tried dropping it and left it in the ruin for days, to no avail. Well I got my first bugged side quest...

Damn.
