Trouble with Spouse

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 2:21 am

Hey I'm having trouble getting my spouse to move into my new home in Falkreath, I've made it and have beds to sleep in but for some reason I don't get the dialogue option to move her in. It's either her old place or "I have this new place, you'll love it" which is an option from the mod Spouses can move anywhere. Is there some part of the building or furnishing or some other requirement that I need to fulfill before a spouse will move into a hearthfire home?
Cheers :)

You need storage of some form in the bedroom and a kitchen.

You don't need a kitchen. And every house gets at least one chest.

I am thinking that your mod may be causing problems.

I too use the same mod and have encounterd the same issue. My custom NPC / Spouse has also lost all move options save for the one introduced by the mod. My workaround involved placeing custom AI packages into the NPC, but this is a poor fix as i'm sure its omitting several flags the game needs checked to enable certain quests and stuff... Too much work into it already to revert to an old save. Ahh well... shafted again.
