Troubles with BOSS update

Post » Thu Aug 09, 2012 1:14 pm

First it refused to work without the update, then it refused to fully download without an error message, now that I've manually installed it from my hard drive I get a message saying "Javascript to be enabled in order to function" whenever I try to use it. I've looked and Javascript is fully enabled. Any clues as to what's wrong?

Thanks for the info, even with the bonus sarcasm. If you look I'm not exactly an old timer here, and most of that hasn't been posting on the forum.

Bonus sarcasm is for everyone, old or new, I try not to discriminate. Having said that, my congratulations wasn't sarcasm. That's more like situational irony than anything else I know of, though I'm no expert at the nuances of the English languages. For reference, sarcasm would probably be more like "I can see you're an expert at putting forward questions in the appropriate avenues". Sarcasm is derived from "sarcasmos" (sp?) which is Greek for "to tear the flesh like wild dogs" or something like that, it's used when the intent is to cause pain to the recipient.

In any case, I hope my advice helped, you didn't say if you've got it fixed or not.
