I'm currently trying to become Thane of Falkreath. I have the "Assist the people of Falkreath" quest active, but it's only 2/3 although I sold cabbage to the farmer, killed Sinding, brought the ashes to the graveyard, found Barbas and did the Clavicus Vile quest.


What more could I do?

Talk to Lod the blacksmith(tends to die a lot) and tell about Barbas.

If that does not work, go to the Half-Moon mill with that vampire. Chop wood and sell.

I chopped wood at the mill for my house a long time ago. Will try to repeat though.
I can't talk to Lod about Barbas, there is no dialogue option. I also thought it was strange that there is no new dialogue with Mathies (is that his name? the murdered girl's father) after I killed Sinding.

I feel like I helpe the people of Falkreath, but they don't care at all lol

Its true they do not care but then in my game so many got killed by dragons there are more guards than anything else oh and goats
