Trying to create new Spells

Hey guys, so I had an idea I wanted to create 3 additional spells to go along with flames, frostbite, and spark. I was thinking about the other elements wind, water, and earth. I currently have empowered magic installed, so in keeping with this concept I kept the same perk tree outline and created Augmented Wind, Augmented Splash/water, and Augmented Earth. I think that would be reasonable and coordinate with the mod empowered magic nicely. However, creating the spells how I have them envisioned is harder than I thought. I currently have one spell made and its wind, I used a combination of concentrating unrelenting force and white shaders to make it close to what I had envisioned, the others are more difficult.

With earth and the effect of shaking the ground, the only thing that comes to mind from the game is the giants club smash, but getting that into a reasonable low level spell at first is kind of difficult, I think it would be great for a higher staged spell like Earthquake of something with a mass paralyze effect, but Im not sure if this is feasible for creating.

Then with water, I had envisioned either a consistent stream of water much like flames or frostbite, or I think a wave or splash of water would be pretty cool. I then thought of a higher level spell which splash would turn into, and I was thinking of either some kind of tidal wave or downpour of rain which slowed the enemy. With empowered Magic, the third level of the spell changes its casting according to the perks, deep freeze for frostbite, intense flames for flames, and disintegrate for shock/lightning.

I guess what I'm looking for in advice on whether or not this is a good idea and whether or not its feasible to achieve what I'm looking for as far as effects go
