Trying to turn off flat panel scaling

Post » Sat Dec 08, 2012 3:05 am

I recently bought this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236174&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NA

And I'm having trouble finding the flat-panel scaling options in the Nvidia control panel (8800GTS here). There is no way in heck I'm going to keep this monitor if I can't set it to no-scaling (1:1 pixel ratio) because some games I play either don't support 1920 x 1080 or I need to run them in a lower resolution to keep things playable for the time being.

I hope to god that there is some way to manually set things to 1:1 scaling in resolutions lower than the native.

It can't do 1:1 via the OSD in the monitor. The options in "aspect control" are just "full" (1080p), 4:3 and overscan. As far as the Nvidia control panel goes you go to "adjust desktop size and position" to turn off scaling.
